Fast rising singer, Fatima Nda-Isaiah, aka Tima, hosted a select collection of music connoisseurs in Abuja on Wednesday night to a listening party to mark the release of her EP, “Identity.”

The party is coming seven months after her debut, Angels. The music guest, Prince Fi’ammari M. Zoaka, popularly called Prof Fiammari, who was present at the party, described Identity, as “an irresistible blend of soul and R&B that also re-echoes more contemporary African legends of pop and Afrobeats.”

Supporting artists who also performed on the night included, Prince Miah, Kobiro, Saint J and GeniQue Luke.

In an interview later, Tima said, “This is an EP that speaks not just to who I am as an artist, but also to who I am as a person. It offers something to most people, regardless of what genre of music they like.”

Identity is a five-track EP that connects with the real essence of the young artist whose music career appears to have taken the music industry by storm.

Reflecting on the progress she has made since her first single in January, the budding artist said she had learnt a lot about music, people and the market and that she was now “stepping into her brand.”

She said she was hugely encouraged by and appreciate of the response she got to Angels, especially the positive reviews and valuable engagements.

“It was overwhelming that people were happy to listen to what I had to say and also to engage,” she said.

She described herself as “a down-to-earth, versatile artist,” adding that her new EP leaves no one in doubt about her true identity.

The EP was produced by Yangata network a group of producers based in Jos, Plateau State.
